Designer Palettes

For those who want to pursue their own design aims, we offer special designer palettes. Each boxed palette contains nine shades of Alice Starmore Hebridean 3 Ply in 50 metre skeins (approx 25g per skein). The 3 Ply is perfect for working basketweave or continental stitch on 12 holes per inch canvas or for cross stitch on 10 holes per inch canvas. 3 Ply doubled is ideal for working basketweave or continental stitch on 7.5 holes per inch canvas or for cross stitch on 5 holes per inch canvas. Further stunning effects can be achieved by using two different shades when working with the doubled yarn.

Primary Palette
The nine shades of Alice Starmore Hebridean 3 Ply we have chosen for this pallette are Spindrift, Whin, Poppy, Red Rattle, Clover, Witchflower, Strabhann, Bogbean and Calluna. These nine shades encompass rich primary colours together with dynamic secondary shades and a balance of light and dark contrasts, thus ensuring a broad scope for bold experiments in colour and design. Harmony Palette
This palette contains a skein of Alice Starmore Hebridean 3 Ply in Solan Goose, Selkie, Sea Ivory, Golden Plover, Sundew, Tormentil, Red Deer, Erica and Driftwood. We created each of these nine unique shades from aspects of flora and fauna. Together they provide a beautiful, harmonious palette which is ideal for experimenting with subtle colour changes and natural contrasts. Price £27
