ABOUT JADE STARMORE
Jade Starmore was born in Stornoway in 1978, and was brought up in the Hebridean villages of Achmore and Gress. She has contributed to knitting books both as a designer and technical artist, and has served a three year apprenticeship in knitwear design and construction.
As well as being a designer and author, she is also our site graphics artist and resident PhotoShop Diva. She drew our Virtual Yarns logo and also designed the site navigation system.
When not working or looking after her four-year-old son Thomas, she is usually to be found reading voraciously or pounding the beach with her headphones on.
